MAMMOTH


Mammoth is the senior thesis film of Alex Zoumadakis. Alex studied film at SCAD and holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts. The film follows two siblings, Harrison and Sophia, who live on their late father's farm. Sophia yearns for more from life, feeling restricted by the path her father once lived. Harrison resists this same restlessness and ultimately finds himself trapped in a former way of living. The animation traces Harrison's fall and his attachment to a life of safety resolving at a sense of freedom when we decide to let go. Mammoth is, at once, a story and an ode to the discovery of new experiences and unknown feelings.
